Who are you??

• My name is Sarah, I live in NJ in what we call the "pine barrens" and I am 33 years old. My birthday is December 4th (Sagittarius baby here!) and I have three rabbits as my co-conspirators for this shop. 

Why open the shop?

• My initial thought is that I want to make them affordable. I'm not in this for profit, I want to do this for the community feeling that can be made from this. It's not just about the things that can be bought, it's also about what we can do if we come together as a community. 

Why should we pick you over other stores? 

• I don't want anyone to feel obligated to "pick" my store over another store, what I do want is for you and other potential customers to see that I am a real person, with a goal of making people happy and feel welcomed. I want to do everything in my power to make someone smile, and feel worthy of being who they are. 

How are you helping the planet with shipping?

• All packages are as environmentally friendly as I can make them be. All cardboard can be recycled, and any packing peanuts can be “washed” under water and they will dissolve. The packing tape that I use is also recyclable as well. Any plastic bubble wrap is not bought new. It is from something I have bought that was shipped to me and it is being reused. I also use honeycomb wrapping paper, it’s like bubble wrap, but recyclable!

Why crystals?

• My first answer in person is "they make me happy". But to be honest, I believe in them. It's either that, or its all coincidences. Either way, if it makes me happy, why not help someone else?

What's your favorite crystal?

• Right now, it's this beautiful sunstone sphere that I have. It's got so many little sparkles in it, I could turn it and watch it for hours. 

Are you ethically sourcing your crystals/items?

• I have not been to any gem shows yet, everything has been bought online, however I do talk to the people who work at the wholesalers, and if something feels fishy, I immediately take a step back and re-evaluate what I am looking at and if it is worth taking the risk. 

What are your pieces that have metal in them made out of?

• Everything that I am sourcing, has NO NICKEL, that is my first and foremost concern. I do not want anyone who wears anything that they get from me to have their skin turn a different color, that defeats the whole purpose of buying jewelry. Anything "silver color" is going to be either stainless steel, or sterling silver. Anything gold color, it's going to be the same thing, except it will be gold plated. 

Have you ever owned a business before?

• No, and I'm terrified. Not that I will fail myself, but mostly that someone will buy something from me, and I will fail them. 

Why the word Chaos? Aren't crystals supposed to bring peace and serenity?

• It came from me scolding my three "toddlers", my rabbits, that cause Chaos all day long while I'm working

Why do some of your pictures look like stock photos?

• I am not going to beat around the bush, I am no fancy photographer, and I’m lucky this website is here (this took a lot of blood sweat and tears to make and its still not done), some of the photos are stock photos from the wholesalers I bought from, but I am NOT drop shipping the items, I have them and they are here with all of the rest of the items that I sell, I just couldn’t figure out a way to take professional photos and then edit them to look better.
